At this point they should be offering fcs kids that may slip. Lists mean nothing. But fun Hudl films to watch

did you watch film of all those players? I'm curious about Proden. I had some interaction with him through baseball.

Generalization on my part. I remember when my sons were being recruited to miaa schools god like 10-15 years ago the juco coaches feedback was that league is all 1aa players that just didn't go 1aa for one reason or another

I watched a handful and I'm not a scout. I'd be surprised if the Proden kid doesn't have a ton of offers. If he has another decent QB his senior year he will blow up

That seems to be Pitt's strategy this time of year.

I havent watched them all. I have watched Jaxon the last 2 years though. Liberty North has a chance to be very good offensively next season. If their QB was a little taller he would be getting some fcs looks imo. I think he's the best QB since Tilman Martins 2023 season. He started out last season spliting time. Liberty North has a ton of wideouts and Proden is the most consistent of them all by far. The 7on7 team is nationally ranked top 20.

Midwest Boom? Seen them first hand at some Battle tourneys in Vegas and Nashville. They're legit, but not Tucson Turf (my son's org) legit :)

816 Elite. New program started by now former Liberty North WR coach. Already ranked in the Zorts top 20.
Features a lot of LN kids.

I'll keep an eye out for them at some of the national tourneys we attend. The MIAA really needs to start recruiting AZ more. I've seen some really talented kids end up at RMAC and NSIC schools with zero interest from the MIAA. I had hoped Brian Wright going from Pitt to NAU would get more eyes down here. Hasn't really happened, yet. Check those Zorts rankings, and there's 3 AZ (Tucson Turf, AZ Dolphins, and Valley's Finest) programs in the top 8.

Isn't a Zort the sound siamese elephants joined at the trunk make when they sneeze?

Tim Conway reference for those of you too young.

Probably true, but in today's connected world where everyone needs to get ranked, Zorts Sports is a central site that handles roster management and registration as well as results tracking for the bulk of youth/club flag football and 7 on 7 tournaments across the country. Since they track so much, they also "rank" teams based on how they perform in those tournaments. For example: My son's 7v7 team, Tucson Turf 14U has participated in 7 tournaments, advanced to the semifinals of all of them, finals of 4, and won 1 and they're ranked #17 in the country. Meanwhile his 5v5 flag team has done a single tournament and won it and is also ranked #17 in the country for 15U Flag Football. It's an inexact science.
