I am usually on the PSAC site, so I don't know much about the MIAA.

I just read that Pitt State is renovating its football field. Is this long overdue, or what are the groups' feelings on this?

I see it is being funded by private donations.

Truthfully, the only thing I know about this conference is Northwest Missouri State. In 1999, IUP made the trek to Maryville for the D2 football semifinals. Beautiful area.

Pitt has been top 5 or so in facilities for a long time. This is a small addition, and more about staying there as well as having a new shiny thing for recruits.

Personally, I'm torn on it. Enrollment numbers haven't recovered, and the empire building hasn't slowed down at all.

OTOH, I do see the logic in trying to build a recruiting edge.
