RIP Vinnie(the Original Bobby Bearcat)

Vinnie Vaccaro passed away 05/26/26 after a long battle with cancer. We both graduated from NWMSU in 1973(although he graduated from HS 4 yrs before I did) so we go way back. He wore the 1st Bobby Bearcat mascot costume and remained one of NWMSU’s greatest fans and advocates. He was definitely one of a kind. He will be sorely missed at NW.
