Tomorrow night on ESPN, Johny Football Vs Mike Reilly. Go Eskimo's. Let's let America know what the NFL is missing is not keeping Mike Reilly there.

Even former Seattle Seahawks Carey Joseph played when backing up Mike Reilly. yes, the safety! I saw that and the name seemed familiar, then they said he was a former NFL safety and that Edmonton at the time used him for short yardage runs.

QB Johnny Football did not have a very glamorous return to the game tonight. Had four INT's as the Montreal Allouettes lost big to Hamilton Tiger Cats 50-11.

Sounds like the Allouettes make the Cleveland Brownies look like the Patriots. Either that or Manziel really stinks at football.

I watched the first drive before going off to other things. He seemed to not be aware of where players were on the field as he was throwing as he threw to a receiver coming from the left and got picked by a linebacker coming from the right. An average QB would be aware of that when throwing into a zone, but he wasn't.

So true, he doesn't have the mentality to make it in the NFL and the CFL will be tough for him, no matter how much he thinks he's changed his ways. You either have it or you don't. Ryan Leaf flamed out of the league not because of his arm, but because of his brain, lack of one. Marcus Mariotta is making it because he's the ultimate team guy and hard worker.

In the CFL (or any league) I'd rather have one Mike Reilly than 100 Johnny Manziels.

The CFL is a different kind of league that has shown up the inadequacies of many heralded QB's. With the wide field, the unlimited motion, and the extra receiver and extra DB, the challenges are very significant for a new QB. Manziel will have another chance tonight as his team takes the Ottawa Red Blacks at 5:00 pacific time. It will be interesting to see if he shows any improvement after having had a full week of practice with the new team or whether he continues to struggle. The Alouettes are not a very good team either so he likely will still struggle. His Head Coach is former Green Bay Packers head Coach, Mike Sherman!

Manziel is doing some good things tonight! He made a Helluva run and took a big hit at the goal line but a team mate recovered his fumble for the TD. He has his team up 17-11 with 3:44 left in the 3rd.
