  • GNAC Week 6 game thread

Only stadium audio from Ellensburg with no audio commentary, much like the Idaho game broadcast. CWU intercepts on APU's first posession. Moore's first pass as starter goes for 44 yards.

CWU scores off camera as the video operator focused on near receiver and far receiver got the touchdown. 7-0 CWU

For IronOre, kicker good from 38. 10-0 CWU with 3:18 left in the first.

Whoever is posting the stats is pretty damn fast. If you watch the game view on screen left with the play by play summary on the right side, they have been posting the result of the play before the actual play is shown on the video. Obviously the video is on a slight delay.

Very happy with the first quarter on both sides of ball. Weather is great too, Mrs. Goods hasn't complained once.

Also of note........ million dollar renovation of Tomlinson Stadium and of that just $47 spent on the sound system. No joke, there is one speaker in the entire stadium working and I'm pretty sure they stole it off my 2002 VW Passat.

and a field goal blocked. Has this been a trend this season?

Ty Currie runs in from 11 yards out to extend WOU's lead. It's now 26-14. But the Wolves have burned their final timeout in the 3rd quarter as they try for 2.

2-pt attempt is no good. 26-14, time for one more play in the 3rd quarter.

Western Oregon fumbles at the Kingsville 10, blowing a chance to put the game away. Javs' ball down 12, 5:39 to go.

I know the game's out of hand, but if the CWU camera operator could not turn to the empty side of the field right before the snap, that would be great.
