Does Michael Roots start to enter the discussion for Harlon Hill?

I'm not sure. Definitely an incredible year, but does CWU's lack of national relevance hurt?

Roots is currently 6th in YPG rushing at 137 per game. He's about 50ypg behind the leader, McLaughlin at Notre Dame College. I doubt Roots makes the shortlist unless something weird happens the last 3 games.

It is very tough for an underclassman running back unless you are on a contending team. Very unlikely. Hoping for All-American recognition though!
