I already have another thread for CWU's recruiting. But here is one for the rest of the GNAC.

Simon Fraser just got an early commitment from a good RB in Mountlake Terrace's Jordan Sims. Has some size at 6' 195 lb. He was being recruited by CWU but didn't receive an offer yet. Certainly impacted by not playing this fall, as he could've had more D2 or perhaps FCS offers if he had a fall season.

With Coach Ford gone, SFU will need to continue to recruit hard out of the states to have any shot of getting more competitive.

I still think there is enough talent in BC and cherry picking some players out of Ontario for SFU to be successful. You have to protect your own backyard first.

That has never worked out for them. If they recruited only out of the states, they would be a competitive team. Unfortunately, they probably have to, or are expected to, recruit so many Canadians each year. That will always hold them back.
