Another CWU player transfers. Start of 2nd Wave?

CWU freshman RB Zaire Lozolo is entering transfer portal with all of his eligibility remaining. He played late in the second half in the spring game at Montana and played high school ball at Kennedy Catholic alongside several D1 recruits led by UW quarterback Sam Huard. He could've developed into a future star a couple years down the road. So I'm guessing his decision is largely based on the recent COVID turmoil. Will more players follow him out?

Lozolo has been removed from the current CWU roster. But as of right now Arizona State transfer QB Jack Smith is also not on the roster anymore. He started the spring game at Montana and the starting QB battle appeared to be between him and JJ Lemming. If he is no longer with the program, it appears to me Lemming's to lose. But regardless, none of CWU's 4 remaining QBs will have any collegiate experience aside from the 4th quarter action Lemming saw at Montana.

Got a 404 error with that link. Sad to see us losing players due to wanting to keep them safe, but glad there is a vaccination mandate with the rising cases in Washington.

I understand that the vaccine requirement is being used by some as the excuse to transfer or quit all together, but I know some were just cut and it is being used as a buffer/excuse/save face etc.... No one wants to be embarrassed by saying they were cut and so it is a built in excuse for some, not all, but some.
