They are not adding football at this time though. 11 nonfootball schools, 9 football schools.
I have fat thumbs sorry for typos!

13% of the TWU enrollment is male. Does Title IX work in reverse?

Has the LSC announced how basketball is going to work with these new schools?

and while I'm on it, isn't Texas Woman's University sexist? How can they call it that?

I'm suggesting a name change: Denton State or San Jacinto University....any one else have suggestions
LSC has hired a consultant to come up with options for conference alignments and scheduling. They will make a recommendation.

I think TWU has a fairly large male enrollment but they choose to discriminate against men when it comes to athletics.

I would like to see Texas womens add a lingerie football team. Perhaps the rest of the LSC would follow suit.

                Negative. Under 1,000 males (9 or 10%).

I would say that is a fairly large number, considering the fact that no real man would want a "Texas Women's University" diploma hanging in their office.

The TWU website says that for 2016-17, the undergraduate enrollment was 10,408. The breakdown was 87% women and 13% men, or about 1,350 undergraduate men.

                        Really??? Splitting hairs!

I have an employee who is a professor & teaches in the NP program. Their nursing students do rotations at our facilities. So, I know a good deal about that university.

The bottom line, be it 10% or 13%, they have FEW males, and I assure you they are NOT the athletic type.

Based on this 2017 Fall data, they have 952 full-time males (including undergrad AND grad):

HAHAHAHA. No "real men" get degrees from TWU.

Actually, they have a fantastic Nursing program. Especially the Nurse Practitioner program.

Yes, they do have a great music program, especially string instruments.
