We should be friends on Facebook. You would have all of my left-wing, psycho friends going completely nuts with some of your play on words.

      I like it!

Yeah too bad I don't have a facebook account. I do enjoy reading others bragging about themselves, their travels, and their kids. It's mostly women. Posting selfies fishing for praise and compliments. It's like cocaine and needing another rock - whey they haven't gotten any "wow you're hot" comments in a couple days, it's time for a new selfie, this one a bit more provocative than the last.

I've figured out the fat chicks tend to do face selfies only, so that no one can see that they are in reality a beach ball with a head. Hey I've got no problem with fat people - I'm fat too - but I don't put out PR making it look like I'm a skinny, either.

        Interesting times.

Those are referred to as "Iceberg Selfies", because 95% is hidden below the surface.

They must be selling a lot of cheap whiskey up in the Panhandle. This reads like the musings of a drunk buffalo.

To be fair, I have a lot of right-wing friends that are completely psycho.

Our country works best when we can meet in the middle and work together. (And have a little fun on a message board.)

                Have a great weekend!

Sounds like a great plan to salvage the current wacky WAC! I think it is a great idea! I wonder if the current WAC commissioner & the LSC, GNAC commissioners have seen this recommendation as well. It would be interesting to see what their comments would be.

Perhaps you meant just in conference play? In which case 4-5 is still a really good team...
Correct. I should have stated Conference champion possibility playing in the MAC. Or at least state champion in Indiana. The Fighting Irish are not on the Broilermakers non conference schedule for a few years anyway.

If Lake Meredith water is used in the Distillery process, it is probably really bad tasting.

The WT AD told me about 5 years ago, that to compete at the top tier of the Southland, a minimum budget of $14M to $15M would be necessary. That was 5 years ago. I imagine you'd need about $18M today to compete for championships in all sports. WT's budget will be bumping on $11M by 2019. Could WT make the jump financially to a $16M-$18M budget? Not till FB starts winning again. Even then, WT would be at the mercy of the very fickle Amarillo fan base and better than lukewarm but not fantastic business community support. I'd hate to hang my hat on them. If WT hits 15,000 students by 2024 or so, it might be more feasible.

What other LSC schools could pony up a $15M or better budget? If any fans have that kind of info or ideas about it, please post it on here.

You are right on the money....Sam Houston spent over 18 million last year. SFA went over the 17 million mark. Central Arkansas squeaked by on 13.5 million. Top FCS schools like North Dakota State spend about 10 million more than Southland school.
