Went and watched the last inter squad scrimmage probably 120+ squad.

Defense is fast, dline not as big but much much quicker.

          corners and safeties are tall.

I think Walton is running a defense similar to TCU and Midwestern, hopefully practicing against a heavy run team every week will keep them from getting gashed like MSU did.

Offense picked right up, strand is faster and still throws very well on the move.

Oline is as big and aggressive as ever.

new dive back is a big dude. 6'0 200+ he is a load to get down. Johny smith is switching between wing back and wide out, very very fast. look for them to get him 1v1 on the outside deep. if they dont get to wyatt Smith will be hard to cover.

Freshman im excited about is Nathan betts amarillo kid played qb in hs 6'4" 4.49 40 (hudl account numbers) played basketball too. They converted him to wide out he is going to be special once his route running gets refined.

Dang you guys must be one heck of a team!!!
As an S&T Miner fan I'm wondering if we should even show up first game to take our butt whipping.

Yeah, Boohaha is the ultimate homer with his green tinted shades. He tends to over exaggerate ENMU program. But, they have been a decent in past years just not elite. They run the option which seems to give a lot of teams trouble. They usually do a lot with the talent level they have.

We're not starting that discussion again, are we?

when have i ever over exagerated?

I am a fan yes, but as far as fans go i have been honest about Easterns short commings. But their recent success is not a fluke.

I have been on this board for over a decade, in that time i have taken my lumps, early in my tenure i was pretty obnoxious, but in the past 5-7 i have been pretty honest about Eastern, they are a blue collar team, not flashy, and to win they have to play near perfectly because the other guys are usually bigger and faster lately though that has begun to be less and less of a problem.

I enjoy football and talking about the nuances of the game. I am a fan of our conference, I dont feel like the LSC gets enough respect nationally.

Good luck to the Miners next thursday, i hope Eastern can get come out with a win!

                      at rest or in motion?

                      change or constant?
