I'm probably the last one to know about this but thought I would share it with those who don't.

Kale Steed, a former sports writer who covered WT sports for the Amarillo edition of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, has put together this website. Also, Lance Lahnert, former sports editor of the aforementioned rag, is involved. There is not a better writer than Lance Lahnert! Its stated purpose is to cover high school, college and pro sports in the Panhandle; however, there are stories on there today covering the Southland and the Big 12 minus 2.
It is THE source for good sports coverage in the Amarillo area. It far outstrips the Amarillo edition of the LAJ.
