Lol, some people can never be happy. IDK where there is literally any McBroom hate. Any one who knows the guy knows he's the most humble, selfless leader who does everything he can to keep WT at the forefront. If you can't see how far ahead WT is from many D2 programs, you're out of your mind.

Except Football where they are presently 2nd tier. BTW, most D2 schools do not have the operating budget that WT has nor the enrollment. But, he does seem to be a commendable job.

WT has not had anywhere near the current level of budget. The football program was dropped in 1991 specifically because the prior coaches & AD's had overspent FB to the tune of multi-million $$$. The athletic department has been repaying that deficit over most of the years thereafter. The booster and business support has increased signifcantly in the last few years which is a direct result of McBroom, his staff & program successes.

Therein lies the advantage that most D2 schools do not have. That is why you WILL NOT see stadiums like WT and Tarleton at most D2 schools.

When I was at WT everything was shoe string. Now it looks from afar like a big budget deal. I wish I could go back and check it out.
