Nice win Greyhounds. The offense is rolling with over 400 rushing 2 weeks on a row. Defense looked great in the first half the two block punts and home town officiating allowed Mesa to get back in the game late.

They looked awful, not as bad as Eastern punting unit, but they were not good.

Eastern better get the long snap figured out on punt or nothing else is going to matter. Horrible play.


Eastern started the second half like they should and you could tell start to take the fight out of Mesa, then mesa got the blocked punt gained some energy after scoring, blocked a second one and it was a game after that.

Eastern won that's what matters but Commerce comes to town this week, while they aren't firing on all cylinders like before they are a deep and talented team, Eastern can't afford those kinds of miscues again.

On a positive note, the defense seems to value bend don't break with an attitude of trying to take the ball away with forced fumbles and ints. So long as our opponents do not score I don't care how it happens.
