Tarleton's attendence was horrible. What gives?

Did it really impact the atttendence that much?

Having said that I only wish we could use that as a reason for our awful turnout.

Honestly, I don't know. I can't think of anything else that would explain it.

I'd love to see how UTPB gets these figures. Been saying this for 3 years now. They MIGHT have had 1,000 against us a couple weeks back, listed at almost 4,000

Eesh, WNMU avg less than 400...

Tarletons low numbers could also be explained by being largely a basketball school and mediocre years in football

You make it sound like your in Indiana or Iowa.

One would think an increase and substantial one would follow based on the performance as the season went on. Hopefully that will be reflected in your game on Saturday.

I do think attendence overall is being determined by the availablity of online feeds which are free in some cases. That was how I watched all of our games this fall only because if I wanted to throw up, it was easier to do the task at home.

The weather has been very wet and cool this football season across the entire state. Several LSC games had delays and of course we all know about the Commerce/ Midwestern game.

Last Friday night was the first time in a few years I've had to break out the heavier jacket for our local high school game thanks to the cooler weather. The Panhandle is having a pretty nice snow storm right now.

What I always noticed when I was a student was people would be filling the stadium up then disappear after halftime. Basketball was always standing room only. Not sure how much of that has changed.
