2) Hayes- Should have noted he also has college experience and former Javelina Asst

3) Parr- Has good experience prior to Navarro

Parr would be a really good hire in my opinion. Worked with a lot of good coaches to include the Carthels. Offensive Guy with Great recruiting ties around the state.

That's tough. All of them at least on paper are solid coaches and have more pros than cons. Importantly they know the Texas marketplace.

Salinas would have to be the first off the island. Only because he doesn't have the college HC or top assistant experience and the recruiting pull the other three might have and he's been out of the college coaching ranks for several years and coached high school football before taking his current job. And being able to recruit is going to be the biggest challenge the new guy will have which is already a difficult game even in a good situation where facilities and program performance is adequate. Hayes would have to live under the expectations you better get this house in order like it was when you were an assistant down here. I've seen this cut both ways at the high school and college level and if expectations are not set out by both sides, the ensuing crap show is not fun to watch..
