It's not that I care anything about Philly (okay, maybe their sandwiches). I just like Nick Foles. That team was a train wreck until Wentz got hurt and Foles took over.

Don't lose any sleep over it.

Looking like this one may be in the bag. But until Susan Boyle sings, it aint over!

Why would Jerry change ANYTHING???? He has the #1 sports team in the WORLD. The most popular and richest. He is a businessman and his business is great. Best in the World. He IS the World Champion.

What do you think Jerry rather have? A SB trophy or the title of Best Team in the World?

For me, it's about the sport and my love for something bigger & greater than Jerry Jones. The Dallas Cowboys IS America's team, not Jerry's.

Just imagine the optics from outside of Frisco if Clappy was fired despite having won a playoff game.

And, trust me, as a Steelers fan, I keep wondering what the hell Mike Tomlin has to do to get fired, short of three straight losing seasons (though, that didn't exactly hurt Bill Cowher).

I've said this since the late 90's after the Jimmy Johnson feud, the Barry Switzer experiment and the mediocrity that has stuck with the organization since then.

Jerry only cares about what his CPA's show him on his balance sheet at the end of his fiscal year. As long as that number stays in the black and shows an improvement year over year, he sees absolutely nothing wrong with what is going on. Dare I say he operates like most business people do in this regard. Why change things if the numbers and my bank account look good? But the NFL isn't just any business and it should be apparent to the Cowboy nation by now, the W/L record is secondary to Jerry.

Which this is the problem. The thing that keeps Jerry's balance sheet looking good is the same fans who keep on screaming they are tired of the mediocrity, keep on funding the insanity. When they stop buying merchandise, paying for tickets to Jerryworld and $14 for a $1 Hot Dog among other things, then the net income number will suffer somewhat. Until it hits Jerry in the pocketbook, nothing will change. It might take Steven taking over the show for things to move the direction they need to do, but I'm not sure he isn't any different from his Pop?

He is different, but his bottom line is the same. PROFITS.

Remember what Avezanno told me....at this level, it's the entertainment value and money. NOTHING MORE.

And, unfortunately, money changed Jerry. Back in his, early days it WAS about winning to him. The the almighty dollar poisoned him (like it does just about EVERYONE & every industry).

You are,100% right. Whereas I WILL NOT pay $14 for a hotdog; wear someones jersey; or spend any $ at Jerry World.....I will still be a fan and buying Cowboys paraphernalia for my collection & ManCave (it's what I am known for around these parts...hahaha).

Guess I am guilty of feeding the beast

Lol. I don't buy "knock-offs". The black market drives regular prices UP.
