Just heard a small blip on a newscast, KAMR, that ENMU is having no sports this fall. Can anyone confirm??

Yes, enmu and wnmu have both postponed fall sports to spring.

Looks like we may be kicking off in the spring, folks

Any bets that the New Mexico Governor had something to do with the decision of Eastern and Western?

Western's release stated she asked them to not participate this Fall, so yeah it was her doing.

Maybe WT can replace ENMU for homecoming with OUAZ. McBroom would love to have his buddy Nesbitt back on campus. OUAZ has plenty of openings.

NAIA will be making a decision this week on football. They already moved most fall sports to spring in a release yesterday. That would affect Texas Wesleyan coming to Canyon in November too

We might be left with playing an all Texas LSC schedule with each team playing twice.

You don't think they'd push it to spring before doing that? I have no idea, just curious

Seems to me it would be much harder to try and cram it all in the spring along with every other sport. I don't know anything haha but that's my thinking. I'd be all for playing an 8 game schedule with everybody playing a couple teams twice like they did back in 2015 and 16.

I sure would hate for us to miss a date with an NAIA team.

Maybe Tech could play us on September 19th. We both have open dates then.

Tarleton has an open date on 10/3. https://tarletonsports.com/sports/fo.../schedule/2020

Right now we only have 8 games scheduled, including North American. https://gobuffsgo.com/sports/football/schedule

She will blame it all on Trump.

The point was just the fact it may be hard to find games. I don't think Tech would play WT these days.

Normally that is true, but as you said, it's hard to find games. Tech might decide playing lowly WT would be better than having the night off.

Tarleton would be more likely, they are already playing several LSC opponents. Either way, it would be a blow out.
