Former WT kicker Sergio Castillo signed with the Jets a couple of weeks ago and has been on the practice squad. He may get his big chance tomorrow, as the regular kicker, who is very good, is injured.

Sergio was a helluva placekicker for the Buffs. The best placekicker since I started watching West Texas State in 1968. This could be his big break! Good luck with the Jets!!!

Yes, Sergio had a nice 2 year deal with the CFL this year, but they canceled the season. He was the kicker for the XFL Houston Roughnecks as well.

He just made his first field goal attempt: S.Castillo 29 yard field goal is GOOD.

Yeah. I just went and checked the stats. Sergio was 1/1 PAT and 1/1 FG, 29 yard.

The chatter for the 0-7 Jets is for them to keep losing and securing the #1 draft pick. Too bad the Cowboys won 2 games. They'd be in competition for the #1 pick.
