The Jets regular kicker was scheduled to return from IR anyway. Sergio had one bad game, his last, missing 3 out of 4 FGs. He has a lot on his mind, as he is about to be a first time father in a couple of weeks.

Anyway, the Jets liked him enough to re-sign him to the practice squad 2 days after cutting him. So his salary drops from about $36K per week to $8K per week, which is still more than most of you jokers are making.

8K a week? Wonder if any practice teams are looking for place holders? Getting my resume ready.

I wouldn't quit your current job, the season is nearly over! The minimum salary for the NFL is $610K a year. Remember, they are being treated badly. No wonder poor Dak turned down a 5 year $195 million dollar contract. How insulting!

Meals are included and Sergio says they are really good.

Sergio returned to New York last night after the loss to the Patriots to find his girlfriend having contractions. As of this morning, they have a healthy baby boy, and the Mom is also doing well.
