I believe the draft starts Thursday, but I don't know which rounds go on which days but I would be he gets drafted in the 15-20 round range.

I was reading a report that showed only 11% of players picked in rounds 11-20 ever play in the Majors.

With the number of players drafted each year, that number doesn't surprise me at all. There are something like 400 players drafted each year.

Actually, 1,214 players were drafted in 2018.

                Glad you didn't bet!!!

Crazy how many small school HS players were drafted. Those are completely wasted picks, more often than not.

And THIS is why I stopped following MLB, the talent level has plummeted over the years.

                BACK TO FOOTBALL.

He did not, nor did Nick Novak...which is good for the Rams!

True, sucks for him though. I'm sure he'd rather start making money. You'd think the POY would get drafted when hs kids do

To many of the MLB teams, it may have seen as a flash in the pan. I don't know what he did at the JUCO he was at previously, but one good year might make that decision tough. Plus if he is a 4th year junior, that makes him 22 years old which is old for minor leaguers. Maybe they don't see the quick path that he would need to take to get to the bigs....who knows...too many variables.

With BOTH returning next season, ASU could be unstoppable in 2020.
