At least we're something like 15/15 extra points. Really didn't have a reason to try a FG tonight.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Phillip Lindsay's little brother Marcus. He has some speed for a guy weighing around 220. He looked great tonight with the few carries he had, and I wish we could have seen him against UTPB. Maybe I'm wrong, but he looks like he likes contact and could wear on opposing defenses.

I mentioned him twice. He looked very good.

Except for those 2 fourth down plays that failed. I want to see these guys kick in games. It's like an FG is a last resort for Hughes.

Also I want to see at least 1 QB get some time in a game. If Gerber gets hurt, the season is over unless someone else gets some experience. Recall the other QBs of the Hughes era. Houghtaling, Mitch somebody, Skyler somebody. Arbuckle left because Hughes said he couldn't take a snap from center. Does Gerber? Usually not.

I know its early but looking at WT's schedule there is a real possibility they could go 6-5 (Losses to Angelo, MSU, and Commerce), possibly 5-6 if Kingsville gets them at home if they are as improved as they are showing.

WT's Urias has gone 20/20 PAT and 2/3 FG for the season. I'd say he'd do OK from 40 yards and in.
