Hughes will not be coming back to CSUP. He has burned to many bridges with Wristen.

I taught Polivoda in school. He comes from Caprock as a preferred walk-on. Kid is an absolute stud on and off the field. Was very happy for him tonight. Sergio had been coaching him up in private through high-school.

Yeah that's certainly a mutual feeling. Pueblo's defense is not what it was but that's not due to Hughes leaving...

Beyond unfortunate about Coach Leo passing away, best DC Pueblo ever had and one of the most respected individuals I've come across in the coaching world. He demanded excellence and earned the respect of his guys.

Yes. Man went through a great deal. But it was amazing he survived as long as he did. I remember reading about his story a few years back.

Why do you feel like Hughes leaving didn't have a negative impact on the defense?
