This is probably the worst logo ever for modern day college athletics. I mean it looks like something that was around before modern day desk top publishing and some of those graphic artists of that day did better drawing stuff on a cocktail napkin.

I just don't understand why people insist on reinventing the wheel every 3-4 years. There was nothing wrong with the old logo. I'm guessing the logo before that one was also an OK logo.

I agree about reinventing the wheel. Just like every new coach thinks they need to change the helmets or the jerseys. Every new president thinks he needs to change the university logo. To hell with tradition!!

With that being said, I'm sure the new logo was developed because of the changes in the conference membership with the Heartland coming in. Have to generate some togetherness in this deal. Kum-baya, my lord, Kum-baya!!!

I don't really have a horse in this race, but the previous Logo seemed acceptable to me.
