Angelo State finished 11th No other LSC teams received votes. Might have expected to at least see CWU or Midwestern getting votes.

Would have put Angelo in the top 10 too, they put the two teams Shepherd beat with Hail Marys ahead of them.

SR1 got 8 teams in the rankings, including two teams that didn't qualify for the playoffs. Apparently the PSAC's fourth-best team (Cal U) is better than the GNAC and LSC champs.

Gotta love rankings!

I didn't expect much, but I did hope CWU got a couple of votes. I guess I'm wrong. I'm already going through major D2 withdrawals. Really looking forward to great games each week starting Labor Day weekend 2022.

gvsu seems to be grandfathered into the top ten

Take a look at this poll. They have GVSU third. Personally I would have moved CSM up to second and WT down to 80th, but they didn't ask me. Why 80th? We lost big to UTPB and WOU, both under ,500 and in the 70s in the poll. Yeah, we did sneak by a couple of good teams, including Angelo which shot themselves in the foot repeatedly. I'm thinking Hughes may have held up a sign that said "PLAYOFFS" to befuddle Maskill in the MSU game.
