  • Attendance Question - Basketball

    In the Big 12, and other conferences, if two schools are playing in basketball, one school host the men the other the women. They then flip locations for the next meeting.
    This gives the schools the opportunity to sell two sets of season tickets, one for each team. There would be no additional travel cost. You could start games at 7 o'clock and not spend
    5 hours at the gym. IMHO it would increase attendance for both teams. Thoughts??

      Yes that would seem to make sense and always wondered why it wasnt done this way.

          That's the response I'm getting from most people I talk with. Until our men's team became competitive at the regional level our women's team had larger attendance. For conference
          games, we will have 1,000 to 1,200 in attendance for the women. More for important games.
