    Angelo State Spring Football

    If anyone is interested,Angelo started their Spring Football last week. Hear a bit from coach Girsch:

    The "Spring Game" will be a controlled scrimmage on Saturday 4/23. Not sure of the time.

      It would be nice for them to have start time instead of guessing When to show up

            Spring Game is at Noon.

              Players will be on the field at 12:00 PM. Scrimmage will begin 12:20 PM or so. It will be a controlled scrimmage, not a game.

                      Had emergency and didn't make the trip to San Angelo.

                      Can anyone give their analysis of what they saw today?

                        Only 7 offensive linemen suited out. 3 are in transfer portal. OMAYEBU was in a leg cast and no Cason Phillips but there were a couple new RBs that looked good.

                        Secondary dominated the passing game early but offense caught up and started to do well.

                            Well, it sounds like Angelo has suffered great player losses(and coach) and will be in a rebuilding year. They lost several starting OL and DL, and lost A Lew (OL coach). That's BIG!!

                            A top three LSC finish would make a HUGE statement on just how good the coaching staff is at recruiting and building.
