The team has a very successful year and several of the very good players on that team want to test the waters at moving up to either FCS or FBS schools. It starts as a trickle with one and then builds. I think that is what is happening.
Unfortunately this is the new reality.
Jake Long, Tre Colbert, Ron Allman, and Nate, all should get decent offers at the next level (FCS) or higher (FBS).

@Angelo Fan. I will agree and disagree with you. Yeah the lost about the same amount last yr. besides patrick I heard the rest didnt even play this past yr. The portal can be humbling for some players not getting the offers they thought they would get.

ASU is like double AA college football the same way as the Midland Rockhounds are double AA baseball.
They are going to be the farm system for FCS and FBS same way as other school will be.
