Honestly I don't know what if any power that will have.

What I will say it doesn't look good for him to piss off multiple groups (athletic sponsors, political, religion, etc.) and be able to survive it long term.

Basically it’s a warning-if the president doesn’t wise up (whatever that looks like), then a push for dismissal could be made. It’s up to the president if he changes or not, so the vote really could mean nothing.

Pretty much they don't give a rat's ass about any of their system schools. They've gone all in with Tarleton though and are trying to catch up to UT in the health sciences by expanding their foot print in the Medical Center area in Houston. They are actually building a new building that doesn't look like the Soviet style architecture of their current building there along with some on the main campus in Collie Station. I think they do want to pump in money eventually into the San Antonio or RGV campuses. But if you are in Canyon, Kingsville, Laredo, Corpus or Commerce..... Good luck getting any attention from Collie Station... Just symbolic Bravo Sierra and that is it. John Sharp is just riding the train until he retires.

Vote of no confidence, 2 lawsuits, and a defamation case being federally investigated? Ummm, at some point the A&M BOR are going to get tired of the bad publicity.

With that said, the political beliefs of the mothership may stand with Wendler and against constitutional rights and students rights.

This simply is NOT a good look for WT and now with national exposure they are starting to get the "backwards hick" reputation. NOT GOOD.

This NEEDS to be shut down ASAP!!!!

To be honest the only ones I see defending Wendler now especially on Facebook are the Caucasian boomers over 50 years old plus with no interest in athletics and politics.

If you piss off one group of people you might survive.

7 out of 10 groups you piss off (athletic boosters, religious groups, sexual identity, etc.) with a mix of everyone in those groups its more difficult to ignore.
