  • 2025 LSC Pick'em: Week 12

Here we are, it's the final countdown. There are what could be four competitive games this week, by my figuring. Midwestern State travels to Western New Mexico. Competitive. TAMUK travels to Eastern New Mexico. Probably competitive. CWU travels to WOU for the LSC Championship. Definitely competitive. Angelo State travels to West Texas A&M. Competitive! Finally, Sul Ross heads to UTPB. Maybe not so competitive. First place is in front by 3 points. There are 4 competitive games. YOU DO THE MATH!

I picked WOU to beat CWU, just got a gut feeling. I wanted to pick WNMU to beat Midwestern State but my gut says otherwise. Sorry Mustangs, you know I dig you. Wait, both teams are named Mustangs, LOL. I did live in Wichita Falls, TX for two + years and went to a MSU game, but WNMU is my D2 team. Love ya' Silver City!

Did the GNAC have a football championship trophy? Thinking they need to award that this week along with the LSC trophy.

I don't recall, but if they did I don't think WOU ever got it. They've mostly played the spoiler over the years.

I always wanted there to be a CWU/WOU version of the Cascade Cup which is what WWU (RIP) and CWU played for. I guess we could still call it the Cascade Cup since the Cascade Range is in both states. Here ends my lesson for the day.

The MLS PNW teams have a Cascadia Cup. Sounders, Timbers, and Whitecaps.
