I talked to some of my sources that used to be on this board a lot and others in the know last week.

The president along with the current AD that used to be at Grand Valley both support this vision and privately cite Grand Valley staying D2 as the shining star to do so.

WT would rather beat up the new Sul Ross kid at school instead of being bullied again by Tarleton at the "new high school".

Again just the rumors that are usually reliable.

So we get one or two years out of him? I'm unsure of the new NCAA/NIL/we're basically a corporation that makes up it's own rules. He could have 7 more years.

I believe so. He must have gotten a medical redshirt for his second year at Eastern. Hopefully he can break out at Central and become a big playmaker

Hot take: Since a bunch of really good players were run off for no apparent reason at a certain LSC school, I think WT is the frontrunner to win the LSC this year. I'll still root for UTPB tho.
