Where I was the Football and Basketball head coaches got the fluff classes because at least the basketball coach was over 60 at the time.

Since I was a first year teacher (only taught one year), I had the Biology classes and you have to teach to the CSCOPE curriculum at the time so you couldnt slack.

I definitely dont miss the days of having practices until 5, matches until 7 (road matches got back at 9/10), and then having to lesson plan.

When I spoke with him he mentioned wanting to stay in NM because he could get his full retirement in 4 years. He also mentioned looking at High School Jobs so he could coach his son, who was the starting QB for the local HS this year as a Freshman and be able to watch his Daughter play sports as well.

Im not sure what the Football Coaching Increment is at Silver City, but NM teachers have a minimum salary of 55k, 65k, or 75K depending if they are Level 1, 2, 3. After that it depends on if you have a Masters and how many years experience you have. Lee has been in NM long enough to be Level 3 so it's likely he would be making over 85K before the Football Stipend and Extended Days Contract.

Yeah, you mean the days when you actually worked?
