I paid a dollar for a gallon of milk in 1987....

The average price for a hotel room in Bozeman runs between $150 - $250. There are some high end ones that run much higher. Also note that the market is lacking somewhere around 300+ rooms. There are at least 5 100+ rooms hotels under construction.

Yeah, it was a huge hotel that was completely full. I needed the laundry facilities, which consisted of 1 washer and 1 dryer! Not surprisingly they were in use.

The "free dinner" offered at Residence Inns was Mexican Pizza that night. That sounded good so I went for it. I got 3 crackers with vegan "meat" and "cheese". I ate part of one.

Those aren't in Bozeman. They are in Bog Sky, over 40 miles away. They are parts of resort properties

These properties are literally and figuratively not Bozeman

              Bog Sky? Sounds nice. ;)

I had selected Bozeman but now changed it to downtown Bozeman.

Not doubting you, but again, those are boutique hotels.

C'OME on Inn. 145. Many others as well.

I was the lender for many BZN hotels. The ones you point out are HIGH end.

Yeah, I put the expensive ones at the top. However Super 8 was $199. The Residence Inn I stayed at was only low $300s but the rates will go up if demand allows it.

I used to stay at cheap hotels but found the clientele unbearable. I did stay at the Super 8 in Bozeman years ago, but wouldn't do it again.

Hotels.com makes certain assumptions, which is why all those other hotels in West Yellowstone and Big Sky showed up. I stayed at the Weston Inn a long time ago for $70 in the summer. It's showing $286 now. No wonder I haven't been in the area for a long time.

As a part of an MHSA championship location committee, I know BZN is among the most expensive in the state. With the Cats having a home game this weekend, prices will trend higher.

I can find you great places for less. We also like to gouge Texans...

I picked a day in July to generate that.

Well Tarleton lost at home to Villanova so much for taking advantage of home field advantage.

January and July are prime months.

You are from Texas. It would take years for you to grasp markets in Montana.

You are so right! I am a Texan and it gets old people from here saying it’s bigger in Texas. Not so! Just better!

I used to enjoy your posts but a few years ago you started sounding like Siggy. What happened?

I was pulling for Tarelton because they were once with us. If we had just lost to Villanova in the postseason, I would consider it a great victory. Still I think Angelo is on the right path for their institution. Not saying a change won’t be coming.
