Super exciting game last night, Montana State winning the national championship 35-34 in overtime over Illinois State. What an exciting game. MSU (and Montana) make it work with a lot of great in-state players. Both tremendous college football programs. The portal world has everyone jaded: 327 FCS players made FBS squads last year; more than 3,000 did not. Kudos to the players in FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, and JC, who play their hearts out not for glory, but for the love of the game.

That was a good game. MSU was fortunate to win after too many bad snaps.
Blocking those 2 kicks saved them.
