I agree 100% with that statement and it would give WT and ENMU flexibility to continue their rivalry as a non conference game.Originally posted by cwfenn View PostThe three New Mexico D2’s will continue their three-way

I think they should all be in the same conference anyway.
If we are being real, it would be easier for Central Washington and Western Oregon to be RMAC affiliates.
To accomplish both of those things would turn RMAC into a silo conference like the GAC.

Looks like all the LSC schools are going to be playing at least 10 D2 games so thats a great change in the right direction.

Great stuff. I went to the Southern Oregon versus Western Oregon game last year in Monmouth and Western Oregon one big but it was a good game for much of it. The crowd was enormous as Southern Oregon fans really showed up. What they listed on the status she was about 2,000 fewer than what was really there.Originally posted by Finchwidget View Posthttps://fcsports.org/news/2026/1/21/...-schedule.aspx

I know as division 2 members were supposed to schedule Notre Dame and Michigan and even if we beat them it doesn't count on some weird metric, but I'm glad Western is playing Southern.

D2 vs. D2 games only count as it should be. Otherwise Central Washington wouldnt have made it a few years ago when they lost to Montana Tech.Originally posted by tsull View Post

And why WOU isn't helping themselves scheduling SOU 2 years in a row. If they beat a D2 team instead of SOU last year, they would've likely made the playoffsOriginally posted by Buffalo/Islander Alum View Post

Okay, I'll be real. This topic has been addressed for more than a decade now and the RMAC has told Western Oregon and Central Washington no, never, ever, ever, ever will they be in that league for any sports. Here's also what's not happening: The Northwest NAIA schools are not moving up. I used to have that Pie in the Sky belief on these things a decade ago. None of them are happening, you can talk about it if you want, I'm not going to censor anybody but those things aren't happeningOriginally posted by Buffalo/Islander Alum View Post

A better solution for the LSC schools would do be quit talking trash about CWU and actually beat them.

I have always felt that that CW and WO were assets to the LSC. I think many others do also. I know the travel is an obstacle especially for the schools struggling financially. You both have programs dedicated to competing at least in the football arena. Don’t know much of your other sports. Hopefully we have a long relationship. LSC has enough non- football members. Glad y’all are aboard. With that said, I hope Angelo waxes you both in 2026. I know Angelo is down, but as Pops says, Girsch is a great coach and dedicated to what he does. I know we have a tough row to hoe, but every one else does too.Originally posted by tsull View Post

I wasnt talking trash, I was making a point that from a travelling standpoint the RMAC schools would be closer to WO and CWU.
UTPB and ASU beat CW in 2024.
I find it ironic that you lecture peeps about the options Western Oregon might have to face in a couple of years if the LSC continues to expand but then post about Southern Oregon wondering if they are going to keep their program.Last edited by Buffalo/Islander Alum; 02-09-2026, 11:09 AM.

Agreed and they are attempting to remedy that issue scheduling a very good Mines team on the road in 2026.Originally posted by CWU Wildcat Nation View Post
