TAMU Texarkana has some potential if they can grow. ETAM should have stayed DII where they belong being a bottom feeder in the Southland has to be super embarrasing for them. Sul Ross (and WNM) will always be the bottom feeders and their is nothing much they can do about it. They should both just run an option offense to level the field a little. WTAM will be lucky to stay in D2/Keep its atheletics the way the school has been ran under WW. With a new Prez anything can happen so future is very uncertain with them. Daddy will make CC and Kingsville merge in the next decade and just elevate the FB to D1 and play in the Southland. Tarleton will win a NATTY or 2 and then move up to the MWC in the next 3-4 years.

I agree with most of your post but to say Sul Ross and Western New Mexico will still hang out in D2 but WT will be lucky to stay there is a drama take.

A key one TSU is missing is wins and NCs.

Like it or not, Sports are the front porch of a University. FCS is way better than D2. FBS is way better than FCS.

Guys this is a losing battle. Tarleton is thriving in FCS with football and enrollment while the D2 Texas teams are getting bent over by Central Washington and Western Oregon struggling to maintain enrollments for the most part.

If we want to attack East Texas A&M, that is more realistic.

I watched both TSU and Commerce games. Commerce played with a lot of heart.

Laugh it up. Rome is burning. We all know big changes are coming. You better be trying to get to the highest level of football you can. I don’t think you want to be D2 or lower in 5 years.
