10-4 joshwahls. I didn’t mean to convey in sharing my personal experience with collegiate sports in no wise was a comparison to any decision process for Kanon. Just trying to say, I am thankful the Lord blessed me that someone took the time to help me get some things clear as a young man and It really helped . Sorry for any confusion on that. I’m hoping to see him playing again somewhere.

Saw him play live and he was outstanding. If he wants to continue playing, I hope he finds a good spot.

For my own selfish sake, I hope he doesn't retire, because I love watching him play football.

But it's his decision and his health and other factors are more important. Love that young man and only want the best for him.

Very impressive player, the portal has everybody's thinking out of whack. Take a little bit more money to ruin your career. He had it wired at UTPB. If he doesn't want to play anymore football that's fine, but he doesn't need to keep hopping schools.

I'm very familiar with a quarterback named Giovanni McCoy, who won the Jerry Rice award as the FCS top freshman of the year at Idaho. He had a great thing going there, I went to a game and he was really dialed in. He had the skill set of a very good FCS quarterback

Oregon State threw some money at him and he went there, started a couple games but was disastrous. He up and went to Texas State, lasted about a month there. Then he went to Temple, where he got benched. I know Idaho has put a couple quarterbacks in the NFL out of the FCS ranks, I thought McCoy was the⁸ next one. But he traded 1,000 live game snaps for 100 snaps and bye-bye career. This portal stuff is insane.
