The shoulder/nerve injury Gunn seemed to be dealing with most of the playoffs (hurried off the field twice against Commerce holding same area) was likely a contributing factor to his sudden fumble issues. At least 3 of the fumbles that I could see clearly enough were being held in the same arm he was favoring. The fumbles were overcome in the earlier games but were too much against a QB who was absolutely on fire.
West Florida was a buzzsaw at the end of the year. The QB was outstanding, best QB all year. That was a good team and they deserved the victory. As hard as it was to watch due to the outcome, it was a pretty entertaining game. Congrats to the Argos. Finally, thank you seniors, for all the fun memories over the years. Some of the all time greats just played their last games.

Yes, their QB was almost inhumanly accurate, especially in the first half.
Agree that Gunn's injury may well have been a contributing factor in the fumbles near the goal line.
We could not utilize our running game to full advantage due to being behind by a few TD's in the second half; obviously one of our strengths.
Disappointing of course. But to play in a national championship game again was a great experience. Proud of the team and program.

Yeah, UWF's MO was to create chaos, and one the ways is to attack, attack, attack, and if successful it will make opponents change the way they've played traditionally played or bring the clock into the equation. That's the chaos the Argos brought to the playoffs this year.
Mavs have a good, consistent program -- you all will be back, and hopefully we'll meet again!
