I know a lot of the season is still up in the air and hearing about it non-stop is exhausting. However, I stumbled across this and it would have a big impact on the NSIC and its current schedule:
For 2020 only, Division II lowers maximum number of games from 11 to 10 and minimum from 10 to 7.

The above press release (from Friday 5/15) said it needed to be approved by the President's Council yesterday, where it is now listed as "effective May 19, 2020." See here:

Long story short, IF, there is a season (fans or no fans, delayed or truncated start, whatever. That's a discussion for somewhere else.), the NSIC and our all-conference schedule will have to be shortened by a game. So what team do you get to miss from the opposite division? I'd presume that is the answer. Bye week instead?
