    Dang... never knew he had left. He was quietly the longest tenured coach (technically) for the Mavericks. Will definitely miss him.

    As of Friday, there are 83 players practicing. Add the 12 signees and you get to 95. They still have room for 4 because the school limits them to 99 players. Some players like Taormina have gotten jobs and moved on- DE Brandon Thomas transferred to NDSU along with several coaches leaving. The QB position is completely open with Schlichte coaching at Northern, Ekowa starting medical school and Kaiser is evidently graduating. Lots of question marks.

    With only 12 signees I have to believe MSU seniors are staying in school for another shot at a National Championship, that they came so close to winning in 2019. Seniors would only have to stay for a semester right?
