I'm fairly certain that I am the oldest one to post on this thread so far.

I was at Minnesota State (then Mankato State College) in the Bernie Maczuga days, and didn't realize that we had a winning record in every year that I attended.

    1967: 5-4
    1968: 5-4
    1969: 6-3
    1970: 7-2-1
    1971: 7-3
    1972: 6-5

I was there for years 3-5 of the first Nielson era and the first season for Bubba Schweigert. These seasons included the first postseason in program history (a loss to Central Missouri in the MWB), a conference title and first playoff appearance (a near upset of NW Missouri and the beginning of what turned into a bit of a playoff rivalry), and a bit of a dud.

        2001 9-3
        2002 11-1
        2003 8-3
        2004 4-7

        Overall: 32-14

They would have been played at Howard Wood Field. Also, the only reason the game against South Dakota Tech was 8-6 is because the Hardrockers didnt want to postpone the game to Sunday so it was played in a snowstorm in at least a half foot of wet snow on the field and was decided by a safetyall with a running clock kept by the officials on the field.

Previous year home games were either played at HWF, Brandon Valley High School, and sometimes a late season game in the Dakota Dome. In 1997, I believe home games were played at Beresford HS and Lennox HS along with HWF, BVHS, and the Dakota Dome.
That 1996 USF game played vs.SD Tech was played in a roaring blizzard where a team may punt on first down :)

Not that anyone on the NSIC board cares, but when I was in college (90's), UT-Permian Basin did not even have a football team. Only sponsored three NAIA sports. Volleyball, Men's Soccer, and Softball. And I believe each was non-scholarship or supremely limited scholarship. Of course, the campus consisted of only two total classroom buildings so three sports was probably a lot.
