Wow, there must have been some touchdowns I didn't see scores in the game Vs. the Vikings.

In all seriousness, today's result Vs. Augustana was disappointing but not awful. It's frustrating watching a game that you know your team was capable of winning. If the Dragons had completed that drive that went into the red zone or had not allowed that kick return touchdown, maybe could have been a victory.

On the other hand, The Dragons played a good game and kept fighting against a good team, even after that kick return TD must've taken wind out of their sails. Not trying to do too much moral victory talk, but it's good to see MSUM competitive in these games. Vikings looked real good, too, and even from the TV I could tell that stadium must have a fun atmosphere.

Interested to hear what happened with Sioux Falls and Minot. 7-0? No attempted field goals? Fumbles? Wind, expected at least a little more scoring

I just watched the replay of the game tonight. It was a giant defensive battle. No field goals were attempted by either team. Minot had two turnovers and USF had one. There was some wind, but it really wasn't a factor.

I think everyone expected more scoring. But there wasn't any. Weird.

According to the Winona Football site, Winona has never beaten Duluth. Warriors are 0-7 all time. A must win won't be easy

Mankato and Bemidji should be a great game

It was and I fixed above. They had that 75-50 score listed on the nsic website for awhile last night

Wasn't anywhere close to being as windy as the Thursday night opener vs. MSU. That was a classic wind tunnel game at the Bob.

Just was a weird game. I was impressed with the Red Beaver's defense. Very physical. They're seem much better coached than in years's past. I'm gonna chalk it off to a one-off for the time being and if we stop putting points on the board in the coming weeks, then I'll get worried.

Augie's D is stout so going to need to find a way or QB that can get us some points.

The transitive theory may have finally worked…

                        Week 1
                        Sioux Falls 26
                        Mankato 54

                        Week 3
                        Minot 25
                        Mankato 52

                        Week 4
                        Minot 0
                        Sioux Falls 7

                        Checks out.

Plus Minot has a linebacker named Cayko (pronounced "Psycho") which may be the greatest linebacker name ever. Every time Tom said his name I was loving it.

That's awesome. MSU (the 'other' one) has a hockey player named Chichosz - pronounced "psychos." Kinda want his jersey.
