I don't know, but if they don't already have an answer, it must mean they have no plan...

Maybe because they don't have an answer for that question yet?

SCSU plays in the GLIAC, I think? Honestly can't be bothered to look.

Either way, I'm guessing those fringe sports are gone. The travel costs to the GNAC schools sound gnarly.

DSU? Yeah... I think they are getting dressed up to join us.

Where have they not been upfront?

The new question, can we back out of the deal to bring Jamestown in and add Dakota State instead? Now that the NSAA is officially at 4 members in 2025, the other 4 castaways will be looking for homes too. This is not the NSIC's problem though, imo as rude as it sounds.

USF also cut men's soccer ahead of the move to D2 in 2010ish if I recall... Wrestling was cut at the time as well, and then added back this year alongside women's wrestling.

I don't know how schollys work, but you do have a point about the playoff ban.

I wasn't sure if that applied to schools already in the NCAA or all schools. Though with the JMU debacle, I wouldn't rule out the NCAA flipping on that rule at some point in the near future. They did with NIL and transfer rules. JMU is the latest and biggest profile but there's been a lot of similar situations the past few years.

They should absolutely be up front with the athletes. My guess is they are in denial about the process, just like a lot of schools are. Or they already have told them.

It's North Dakota though, that whole state is in denial.
