Should Jamestown be accepted into the NSIC?

You nailed it. Living in a town with 2 Runza restaurants, when my daughters come from MN/IN they want Runza, so I will have one along with their excellent onion rings. When it comes to fast food I'm a Arby's guy.

Oh yeah! I'll take a roast beef and cheddar over a hamburger anyday. And potatoes cakes, l like those more than fries. I always ring the bell satisfied on the way out.

I've only been to one at the D2 level and it was basketball, the 2013 WVIAC tournament in Charleston, WV. I used to be an Alderson Broaddus Battlers fan before they closed the school. So I elevated my second team Western New Mexico Mustangs to my top spot and now I'm riding the Jamestown bandwagon for awhile to support them on this board after the pounding they got earlier in this thread. I've never been to Jamestown, but Louis L'Amour came from there and I love his books.

I go to a handful every year - being a dual alum means there's a lot of ground to cover. I did volleyball, women's basketball, and baseball this year - as well as DI hockey. I'd like to do softball next year. Usually go to the men's basketball tournament but wasn't able too this year.

A lot of it plays out within 60 miles of where I live - so that helps.

I was curious about the JV schedules with no games listed while the Varsity schedules were listed so I emailed the AD at Jamestown and asked about it. He got back to me and said they're planning to drop the JV programs now that they're D2. That's what I suggested to you. So put that in your chocolate milk and drink it. ;)

Sounds like a heckuva weekend - every time I go to a conference tournament, it's freezing.

It's your dial up internet - they work just fine for me. I can't imagine the athletic department is all too worried about keeping the JV pages up to date with the latest news and stats.

When BSU's old hockey conference, the CHA, held their post season tournament in Kearney, NE, they had Runzas in the "club" area. I thought they were pretty good, but part of that also could have been the amount of beer i/we had drank that day! BSU had a decent following at that tournament, and they had to get their distributor to make an "emergency" delivery because we had pretty much tapped them out of beer the opening day, something their USHL team had never done for a weekend series. It was pushing 80 degrees, sunny, and we also had a grill set up between games. That was a fun time!

Personally, I find them average tasting at best. They benefit from being dipped in a tremendous amount of ketchup.

Their fries are pretty good.

Tundra covered it - Nebraska hot pockets. I first had one near Warren Buffet's office in Omaha, I distinctly remember seeing a car with a "proud Minnesota State parent" sticker on it.

It's not the best thing I've ever had, but it's different. And I like different.

Which is a real serious problem. Wayne gets a pass for having a Runza but everyone else needs to get it together.
