I came across this football card recently that shows a picture of Don Beebe catching a pass against Jamestown in their 1988 week 3 matchup - but I can't tell where the game was played, and would also like to know who #3 is for Jamestown in the photo.
As for the game location - I want to say Chadron as the building vaguely resembles Miller Hall, but I can't tell. Anyone have any info on where the game happened and a Jamestown roster I can reference?
I think I will make the SMSU - Jamestown football game in September. Likely to play golf in Ft Ransom, Jamsetown, and maybe another spot or 2
It's a little out of your way, but Wahpeton/Breckenridge is the only course in the county where the front nine is in one state and the back nine is in another.
Not sure what the second bit has to do with anything. As for the first bit - I acknowledged that SMSU Wheelchair basketball was a varsity sport, not a club sport.
well my proposal to have the state fund it is due to the uniqueness of the program, it the state's commitmnet to diversity with money.
it is considered on par with all other sports and should be.
I asked once why the State of Minnesota doesn't fully fund this... it would be a great way for the State to put its money where it's mouth is on disabled students and equity and diversity. The Legislature should pay for all of Wheelchair outside of the other funding it gives to SMSU.

Ha, okay lol. I'll concede that you can absolutely consider them whatever you want too. That's definitely not worth arguing over.
That being said, for the record - SMSU Wheelchair Basketball is not a club sport. It's a varsity sport. The HC is on the same payroll as Bigler and Underwood. It's one of two varsity wheelchair basketball programs in the country, the other being Whitewater. It's fully sponsored and funded through the university and is not a student organization.

It's been years nearly 2 years and the answer is still NO
I have heard from some Moorhead contacts about how bad the Jimmy’s really are. It’s been discussed here forever, but what an ugly transition it will be for them and those that have to act interested in playing them
Curious about fire damage at Jamestown U dining/kitchen fire progress?
My Horace Mann agent has a son on the soccer team. They are getting things figured out- obviously with dining services being affected it was a real pain in the butt to get the students fed. He said that the bookstore had a big fire sale from the smoke damage.
I hope to be at the football game Sept 20th. I've seen the Jimmies play on the road but never on campus.
Jamestown men's volleyball is currently 6-18 on the season with 3 games left on their schedule-- a pretty far cry from last season's 22-2 finish. I understand that volleyball is the Jimmies' bread and butter, so I was rooting for them to finish their last season in the NAIA strong so that they might be able to parlay that success into an affiliate membership with a men's volleyball conference in the NCAA like the GLVC and show they bring something to the table there. Not looking good on that front though, unfortunately.

It’s already done, it was part of the back room Jimmy/Trojan deal facilitated over margaritas at Paradiso in Jamestown. NSIC waiting for the facilities to be completed before announcing in time for the 2028 season.
