For sure - didn't mean to sound like I was arguing, I just thought it was interesting on how different it looked in the two photos, but he's absolutely right on what can affect a photo. Definitely Miller Hall at CSC, just beyond the fence of the football stadium.

I saw this posted elsewhere and a couple people were trying to figure out what game it was, since it was Jamestown I thought I'd share. I believe MSU, SMSU, and now Jamestown are the only NSIC programs to have their likeness featured on a card - I'd love to know of more if there are any.

Oh - gotcha. Makes perfect sense.

Gloves are off, just making sure you were looking at the correct building for reference.

Another reminder that time ages everything.

Absolutely. A lot can happen in 37 years.

Shoot - I had to go through several scans of the same card just to find one that showed the Jamestown defenders helmet clearly enough.

          • Chadron's field is in the same place, although they've completely replaced all their seating on both sides. Used to be an old WPA era grandstand similar to what they have in Bemidji. The visitors side was old wooden bleachers, if I recall correctly.

Is Bemidji St. grandstand a WPA project?

No - it was built with federal grant money, but it wasn't funded by the WPA.

On Sept. 6 at KO stadium, when they line up against the beef Augie is packing, Jimmies will be wetting their uniforms. They'll come in all jacked up and leave deflated. No NSIC wins for JU.

Maybe not, but I think they will have a chance at one or two....
