I’ll grant you the Jimmie men exceeded expectations in basketball. But the women’s team is/was not good at all, borderline terrible.Originally posted by MrMustang View Postso far Jamestown has been ok -- not great but not unexpected for a D2 transition.
Football struggled and volleyball did (especially given volleyball was a NAIA power) but both basketball teams have been competitive, not terrible. men have clearly exceeded expectations.

They play again today - maybe the Jims will turn the tables.Originally posted by Stanger86 View PostNot exactly an uncommon occurrence in Division II baseball.

Jimmy Baseball had their "Welcome to the NSIC" moment today - dropped a double header by a combined score of 24-1.
They are now 0-5 this season.

Congratulations. You win nothing and all it took was a historically terrible North division in men’s basketball.Originally posted by Stanger86 View PostRemember this from back in August?
With four total games to play, the Jimmies are at a 24-win total. (BTW, I was the only person to take the over).

(BTW, I was the only person to take the over).Originally posted by debergfan View PostPredictions for each NSIC team’s win total: Based on their volleyball schedules, it seems some teams may not realize that non-region games won’t help regional rankings or perhaps they do realize it, but simply needed to fill the schedule or the regional rankings don't matter. Either way, Jamestown, you do you.
Football - 0 best shot SW
Volleyball - 6-9 wins
Women's Soccer - 4 wins
Men's Basketball - 6-8 wins
Women's Basketball - 4 wins
If these five teams get above 20 wins in the NSIC, consider the 1st year a success IMO.

Jimmies football to the MVFC, hockey to the NCHC, and Summit for all other sports? All this just so they're not in the NSIC lol.
Take St. Cloud too.
