I was in Sioux Falls a few weeks ago and realized they have them there. I chose to stick with Kwik Star since I don’t have the Kwik Trips in my general area

I like the one by the prison in Sioux Falls - it's a frequent stop. Seen my fair share of weird stuff there too.

One time I was there and Mr. Football Jake Ratzlaff was also there. He had his arm in a sling, the Herd did a number on him that night.

I got to thinking - it's become a tradition at SMSU to send the football team in behind a horse. It's cool to watch - gets the fans going, looks great on video, etc. We really like it.

If Jamestown really wants to go for that *WOW!!* factor - they should consider doing the same, except instead of a horse - they should use a 2001 GMC Jimmy:

That Kum And Go by the police station is the closest convenience store to the client location where I work. As a result I find myself there fairly often.

However, given the choice I would pick Kwik Trip/Star every single time.

At the prison one - you can get dinner and a show. Entertainment is at no extra cost. Someone tried to assimilate their car with the front wall once. Didn't work, but it was cool to look at.

KwikStarTrip isn't a bad option though - one of the few places with readily available corndogs. One time in New Ulm, I raced a group of locals from one KT to the other KT and beat them for the last corn dog in town. They were audibly frustrated - but they learned an important lesson that night. Never get between a Southwest Minnesotan and a corn dog. You'll lose every time. It's fine dining where I come from.

I was just in that one for the first time a couple of weeks ago - sometimes I go for a walk in the neighborhood on the hill, start by the park and make my way over to the Cathedral, and zig zag my way back. I decided to make my way down the hill and grab me a bag of the white cheddar Cheezits and a bottle of water. That ball field on the top of the hill has a great view.

The one on Minnesota is convenient - it's near-ish to the Sioux Falls office, down the road from the Premier Center complex, and I use Russell a lot to enter/exit the city, and it's just right there. I agree though, KwikTrip is a better experience and much preferred.

I like your idea but I hope you'll either pound out or fill in the dent on the front side panel. No rush, you've got six weeks and it shouldn't take more than few hours. Normally I'd ask you to paint it team colors (orange and black) but I dislike orange when it comes to sports. I'm making an exception for the Jimmies because the other fans of NSIC schools think they're so high and mighty. LOL

Speaking of Prisons, if you get homesick you can always visit the correctional center located a few miles south of Jamestown. They also have a mental hospital by there in case you need somewhere to crash for the night. LOL.

At least it's not downtown like the one in Sioux Falls. I've been there and was surprised to see where it's located. But over the years the city grew out to it and then around it. That's what I was told when I asked the front desk receptionist at my hotel.

                      • Jamestown, North Dakota has a lot of good places to eat according to Yelp! So don't worry, you won't have to eat at a convenience store unless you're really into microwave burritos and corn chips.

KT corn dogs are a great snack on the road! Their chocolate milk is also a must get

Ranked #7 in ND on this list. https://www.thecrazytourist.com/15-b...-north-dakota/
