Jamestown’s teams won’t go far, so don’t get your hopes up. Where’s the pride, Jamestown? How is having 3 home games acceptable? How is not having a dining hall acceptable? Do they have any Jimmie Pride?

To be fair to Jamestown - and all jokes aside, they had a cafeteria and it caught on fire.

It's not like they just never had one to begin with. The one being built is the replacement.

Jimmies football team has a huge roster. I count 141 student athletes on team. With 72 players as Fr. an Rs. fr. they are a young team. I would think that they are 2-3 years away from being competitive in D2. Maybe Old Yellar can convince me otherwise. With roughly 1300 students the football team is over 10% of student body. Good luck Jimmies.

Have to make up for the loss of their JV teams somewhere. 141 football players and 3 home soccer matches. Of the 141 - I suspect at least 70 won't be on the roster next year. Rinse and repeat - Jamestown. Men's Basketball I bet will be near 30.

Kinda sounds like a D3 model. Perhaps they chose the wrong division to join.

I suspect you’re spot on regarding turnover. Those rosters contain a ton of team managers that’ll never see anything close to the field/court/etc.

Saw a picture on a friend's Facebook page of their indoor practice area for golf (her son is going to be a Jimmie golfer). Looked nice for a school that size, simulator bays (I saw probably four in the picture) and a huge putting area. Each player had an individual locker to store their gear in as well. It wasn't fancy by any means, but very adequate for off-season/indoor practice. Definitely a larger space than what BSU has for golf.
