I’ve heard a lot of good things about the course but have yet to play it. And reading through the course history has me even more intrigued

That is tremendous work by the Bridges, EXTREMELY useful on #11 tee

It's also usually in tremendous condition for a public golf course in a town Winona's size. It's just relentless from a difficulty standpoint, especially on the back nine.

Conditions, especially greens & tee boxes are top priority 👍🏻

10/11/12/16/17 are all of the original design it appears. Must have been very difficult when it opened (although I’d guess some yardage has been added since?)

It was a private course for a long time, had tennis courts, pool, lockerrooms, and club storage. 20ish years ago, Bob Kierlin, the founder of Fastenal bought it and turned it public. Tore most of the buildings down and build a beautiful event center, new clubhouse, and a bar and grill restaurant. He passed away last winter so it will be interesting who takes over.

St Cloud Country Club is a challenge too

The dawn of a new era in the NSIC.

As John Cena used to say - "The Champ is here!"

                    • Looking at the stats page - through two quarters, the only things Jamestown has more of than Augustana is penalties and penalty yards.

Respect to Augustana for pumping the brakes on the Jimmies(?)

EDIT: Didn't read down to punts. Jimmies have more punts.

                        • A closer final score than 2024 wins for Augustana against both Northern State and Winona State. I guess those two are not worthy of the NSIC either.
